Wind energy and Energy transition

My research group conduct research in wind energy fluid mechanics. The main focus is on how to model the atmospheric flow and how it interacts with tomorrow’s larger turbines and farms. The work in conducted using high fidelity modeling and the focus stretch from complex onshore to off shore conditions. The group is currently involved in a large number of international and national projects.
I am also Director for The Swedish Wind Centre gathering eight academic actors and industry within the wind energy field. The research group also focus on energy transition in a broader sense where we consider energy system perspectives from a multidisciplinary viewpoint.
Within the STandUP collaboration I am also a guest professor in wind energy fluid mechanics at KTH.
Read more about the research on the research group's own page.
