Composites including repair and de-icing of wind turbine blades

The group conducts research in the area of polymer composites materials, the influence of constituents and architecture on manufacturing and performance.

Physical performance such as load carrying capacity, degradation due to structural or environmental loads as well as multi-functional features (e.g. electrical insulation or conducting features) are examples of properties studied using experimental as well as theoretical approaches.
