Areas of interest include biomass, membrane distillation, polygeneration, and solar energy -- all of which play critical roles in sustainable development. These topics feature in a wide range of applied research projects in various contexts: from large-scale cogeneration to decentralized renewables-based polygeneration in rural locations; and for water purification and industrial wastewater treatment through waste heat-driven membrane distillation.
