Renewable energy production system
Our research focus on water resources problems related to hydrology and environmental hydraulics. Ongoing research are due to water and renewable energy availability in the hydro-climatic sysytem, effects of climate fluctuations and landscape changes on runoff, hydropower regulation, extreme flows in rivers and safety of embankment dams.
A recent example concerns the climate effects of the availability in solar, wind and hydropower, and especially their covariation over large regions. Another example has focused on leakage from high-level radioactive waste repositories in groundwater.
