An interesting lunch seminar on a current issue – and sandwiches with registration!

Take part in a seminar focusing on energy transition and how academia and society are, can and/or should co-create for a sustainable future. Listen to three speakers present their research on sustainability challenges in cities, energy storage, and the goals and activities within the project Energy Transition Gotland.

Lunch sandwiches (vegan) will be served from 11:30.

SPEAKERS:

Rafael Waters – Professor of electricity at the Dept. of Engineering science and project leader at STUNS – the foundation for collaboration between the universities of Uppsala, the business and the public sector.
Rafael will discuss how regions can take on the sustainability challenges of growing cities.

Andrew Naylor – Researcher at Dept. of Chemistry, Battery research and future energy system.
Andrew will focus on the need of energy storage and basic research for a sustainable energy transition process.

Johanna Liljenfeldt – Postdoctor at Dept of Earth Sciences, Project coordinator at Energy transition Gotland 100%.
Johanna will present the project energy transition Gotland and adress the implication of energy transition for different actors in the society.
