The preliminary agenda of the SIGRID seminar among other things includes presentations of the Smart Grid Gotland project by Monica Löf and her co-workers at Vattenfall and Anna Wallsten, PhD student at the Department of Thematic Studies – Technology and Social Change, Linköping university. As usual, we will also continue the mapping of ongoing social science and interdisciplinary research on smart grids in Sweden. The overall goal is to identify any points of contact and cooperation opportunities as well as knowledge gaps in present research. A more detailed agenda will follow in the beginning of next year.
Help us spread the word
Identifying the target audience for this event is a tricky business and irrespective of whether you find yourself belonging to it or not, you are kindly asked to assist in disseminating the information to other researchers that might be interested in joining the meeting.
SIGRID in a nutshell
For those of you who aren’t familiar with SIGRID, it is a research network in social science and interdisciplinary perspectives on smart grids. The basic idea is to facilitate the identification and coordination of ongoing and future research in this area. It is expected to help scientists keep track of current research programs and calls, to identify opportunities for synergistic collaborations and to keep updated on their colleagues’ results and publications. It caters primarily for Swedish researchers who are active in the area at hand and possibly also persons belonging to their domestic and international networks. The minutes of previous SIGRID meetings will be sent to you by email on request.
We bid you a warm welcome!
